Sore Throat… Ugh!!!

It is 6:51am. I went to bed at 1am, woke up at around 6am, and my throat feels swollen shut. Arghhh!!!! Why me, why now!!! If you use your voice for a living, then maybe you can identify with my current state of frustration.

Funny thing, about a week ago I was bragging how I haven’t been sick for over a year. Why me? Well, I can answer that. Lack of sleep, a little stress, and a drop of anxiety. If you have a creative mind and know how to shut it off for the night, please share with me as I will pay TOP DOLLAR $$ for your method… Why now? Well, I can answer that too. All this crazy weather change from hot to cold certainly doesn’t help.

Anyway, I’ll be sucking down Halls cough drops, drinking LOTS of fluids, and investing time in some chicken soup. Luckily my gig today is an all instrumental deal. God’s timing is perfect…
